The discussion all started from a Young lad whom I meet. He is just 19, I guess he just appeared for his high school examination. It took my by shook that this place where he is working is his second job. He is been working since last two years. Sorry I forgot to mention that he is working in a call center.
Why I'm telling the background is because this chap does not want to study any further & I found his reason strange as well. Neither he works for any financial obligation nor for any strong reason. His reason is just that he want to earn money.
It really amused me, at that time I realized why such condition has evolved after braining out the facts. The facts which I think are responsible for such conditions are :-
- No higher educational qualification required to work in call centers.
- In fact BPOs look for students appearing or college going.
- A person with higher educational qualification is not a good candidate for call centers.
- Easy money. Though the work is stressful but the perks are always lucrative.
I find it so helpless situation, whom should we approach?
- The parents?
- The Company HR?
- Young guys like this one?
- The education system?
- The economic system?

yes, The issue raised here, is very relevant. I too want to share that, one of my friends roommate just appeared for 12th std. exam and got a job in a call centre. that guy wanted to pursue higher education ( i guess doctor or engineer) but after getting a call center job, his attitude changed and the passion to study further died.
He was exposed to the company of friends & colleagues where he got many bad habits.
Therefore, i believe that student shall complete his educational degree first and then enter into job market, if there's really a genuine reason, working for short period of time is okay.
