Painful profession

May be I'm a doctor hence I have become little insensitive towards pain & agony, but somewhere I'm still human. It really hurts to see someone dying. The pain of death is horrible for the relatives of the deceased but it haunts me in the night,in my dreams.I sometimes wish that i was not a doctor, at least I wouldn't have to see the deaths.
The nobility of the profession is undoubtfull, but the pains of seeing someone dying, someone crying for their loved ones is inevitable.

Good Or bad

Maoists or terrorists obviously try to justify their cause but nothing is justified with the lives of many. But are the police or other inquiring bodies justified to catch hold of innocent people in the name of crime. How do we differentiate actual criminals with real innocent people. The question of who is good or who is bad will always be unanswered, till then thousand of innocent people will be tortured in name of justice.what pains me the most is the incapability of the inquiring bodies to catch the actual culprit.Hope the police & judicial system understand the circumstances of an innocent associated with the said crime.

The Joy of reading

When I first started reading it was to avoid to be a part of the family I was staying for few days in pune. But I never thought I'll get addicted to reading.Today even a piece of paper with something scribbled on it fascinates me.Perhaps this passion for reading is making me write to.Though Its been long that I have written any thing but this small piece of writing is also giving me my happiness.
Reading is just not finishing a book, it is understanding the depth of human nature, human relations & of course life. For me books have become a platform where I'm the hero, the villain, the side kick.Sometimes I'm happy for the characters I relate to, sometimes its hurting to see a similar character like mine.I love fictions because its all based on facts but yet hypothetical.I guess books give happiness because the kind of books I read gives me what I not or I can't get
!
Perhaps one day I'll take this joy of reading to another level by writing my own book.May be the book can be based on my life,my experiences.

Is BPO industry killing young minds?

Being an Indian it is my birth right to discuss the entire national problem everyday with friends or family at the dinner table. Yesterday my platter was served with the tension of diminishing value of education.
The discussion all started from a Young lad whom I meet. He is just 19, I guess he just appeared for his high school examination. It took my by shook that this place where he is working is his second job. He is been working since last two years. Sorry I forgot to mention that he is working in a call center.
Why I'm telling the background is because this chap does not want to study any further
& I found his reason strange as well. Neither he works for any financial obligation nor for any strong reason. His reason is just that he want to earn money.
It really amused me, at that time I realized why such condition has evolved after braining out the facts. The facts which I think are responsible for such conditions are :-
  1. No higher educational qualification required to work in call centers.
  2. In fact BPOs look for students appearing or college going.
  3. A person with higher educational qualification is not a good candidate for call centers.
  4. Easy money. Though the work is stressful but the perks are always lucrative.
I'm not here to blame any one but this the fact; BPOs, call centers are hampering the value of education. Though their approach is changing, these MNCs are here to do business & they'll surely hire people as per their discretion.

I find it so helpless situation, whom should we approach?
  • The parents?
  • The Company HR?
  • Young guys like this one?
  • The education system?
  • The economic system?
No answer, that's the same thing happened yesterday at the dinner table we did not have any answer. Perhaps we all have to decide what we want, quick money or strong future based on higher education?

Murder Of Faith

Attacks by the terrorist on the economic capital of the nation disgust me.How many more notorious nostalgic moments do the governmental bodies want to make it hard for outsiders to penetrate the peace & harmony of the country?
Initially it did not disturb so much, but emotional status of one my friend shook me badly. I understood how well we all are connected, how deeply we all Indians are bonded.
He wasn't scared about the incidence but he was sad about the unfortunate course of fate for the many people who died there. I'm writing this for those many people who are affected in any way they could be.
I request the government to stop praising about the "Spirit Of Mumbai". If they don't take stern action Mumbai will really turn into city of spirits.
I request Mr. Raj Thackery to stop attacking other brothers, I know refugees are one concern but don't make it look like internal terrorism. Attack the outsiders.

Look At More Important Matters.

India, the biggest democracy in the world, with lots of political parties. In books & texts it is always said that leaders are those who fight for the betterment of others. Leaders are chosen so that people can have a hassle free life. We always make news with our ever growing population, are increasing demand for food, land & much more. So this so called chosen leaders of our country what the hell do they to make our lives better? Is allotment of plot for a temple more important than settlement of flood or draught affected people? Is disaster management more important than sorting people within the same country on the basis of region? Is length of the skirt more important than handling pending cases on rape & molestation?
I really don't know because since childhood I have always seen these great minds, our leaders doing stuff which has no importance or perhaps which is secondary and ignoring the actual issue. Is is the real meaning of being leader?
This thoughts are disturbing, a country wide strike for what a piece of land for a temple, dear leaders we already have many temples. We need schools, for a bright future. We need more buildings, to accommodate the growing population. We need conservation of historical structures, money for archeological surveys. Please dear leaders learn to do the right thing at right time.

Deadline 30 Minutes

In today's fast world we love the junk called Fast Food & the brands like Mac Donalds, Dominos provide the source of these great junk. The free service of home delivery brings these highly innutritious food to our door step. But have we ever thought about the deadline of 30 minutes. Yes to meet the deadline of 30 minutes the delivery boys risk there life on the bike. Is 30 minutes more important than someone's life? Can't we wait a minute more so that these delivery boys don't risk themselves?
We should also take the initiative by paying them the charges even if they are late. If a delay of 10 minutes can save someone's life then isn't it worth doing it?
